Replacing

Replacing a keypad assembly or trim knob control

1.Remove the rubber knob from the trim knob control shaft.
2.Use an 11mm wrench or nut driver to remove the nut securing the spinner control's shaft to the display bezel.
3. Open the display assembly.

4. Follow the steps below to remove the keyboard assembly from the front bezel:
a.Gently squeeze the latch release and pull up to disconnect the keyboard cable from the keyboard PCB.

b.Remove the five screws that secure the keyboard assembly to the front bezel.

Lift up the mounting plate.

5. Place the new keyboard assembly on the display bezel.
6. Replace the grounding strap if necessary.
7. Reconnect the keyboard cable.
8. Secure the new keyboard with the screws.
9. Make sure the washer tab fits into the retaining slot of the trim knob control shaft and reinstall the 11mm nut.
10. Secure the trim knob and reassemble the display assembly in reverse order.
