The MX40 Touch Screen with Panel & Board is the front-facing part of the Philips MX40 patient monitor. This part consists of the front panel of the MX40 patient monitor, the LCD touch screen and the circuit board inside. There are three basic function buttons on the front of the Philips MX40 Monitor Touch Screen with Panel & Board FCB1603-63A, from left to right are:
1. Silence Alarm Button:
When enabled, initiates local silence/acknowledgement (IIC) of all active alarms.
When enabled, initiates global muting/acknowledging of all active alarms (IIC iX).
Mute the Find Devices sound.
NOTE - The MX40's alarms can be silenced from the Message Center. When muted from the message center, the message center will not mute the alarm sound until it receives feedback from the MX40. This may take a few seconds.
2. SmartKeys Button:
Displays the SmartKeys menu on the touchscreen.
3. Main Screen Button:
Touch for two seconds to activate the touch screen.
Cycles through the screens if touched repeatedly.
Resume from standby.
When pressed from a submenu, returns the display to the main screen.
