The M3012A Multi-Measurement Modules (MMS) can be disassembled/repaired, the following is the replacement procedure for the bottom housing:
1. Remove the front cover
2. Place the MMS extension facing the connector. Locate the long mounting pins on each of the four corners below the cover plate and the two long mounting pins on the bottom cover, and use a thin-bladed screwdriver to gently pull the pins out far enough so that you can remove them with pliers;
3. Use a screwdriver to place it in the gap between the bottom cover and the measuring block, then twist the screwdriver to gently open the bottom cover.
