There are three main steps to using OnSite to treat a person who may be present.

STEP 1: PULL THE GREEN HANDLE
Activate OnSite by pulling the green handle on the SMART Pads.*
Remove the hard cap from the pads cartridge and set it aside. Keep calm
and follow the instructions on site.
OnSite begins by asking you to remove all clothing from the patient.
Otherwise. If necessary, tear or cut clothing to expose the person's chest.
STEP 2: PLACE GASKETS
Pull the tab on the top of the pads cartridge to remove the protective film. They are inside
two adhesive pads on a plastic liner. Remove the seals from the cartridge.
Remove one eartip from the earphone. Place the electrode on the patient's bare skin in exactly the same way as
shown in the image on the tablet. Press firmly on the pad. Then repeat this with
another overlay. Make sure the electrodes are removed from the lining before placing them
their.
STEP 3: PRESS THE SHOCK BUTTON
Once OnSite detects that the pads are attached to the patient, it begins
heart rate analysis of the patient. It tells you that no one should touch
patient and the Alert indicator will flash as a reminder.
