Brief Description

The Lifepak20 LP20 Defibrillator/Monitor (Device) is a complete acute cardiac care response system with manual and semi-automatic defibrillation operations. The defibrillator can generate biphasic truncated index (BTE) shock pulses for defibrillation, and when the patient needs defibrillation, the device can be operated to deliver a brief high-energy electrical pulse to the patient's heart to recover patient's heart rate. However, the defibrillator does not directly act on the patient, but needs to go through the medium of electrodes. When defibrillating a patient with these defibrillation electrodes, internal circuitry continuously measures the impedance between the electrodes and allows defibrillation only when the defibrillation electrodes are attached to the patient. So this is also an operation to protect patients and users. Although this Lifepak20 LP20 Defibrillator is used, it is fully tested to ensure it is fully functional and up to the standard used before it is sold.
