1. Connect the m2741a co2 sensor to the patient monitor. Connect the sample line and the lime.
Tube to sensor. Make sure the sensor is disconnected from the patient's circuit.
2. Turn on the patient monitor.
3. Enter the monitor service mode.

4. Using the sensor status provided in the m2741a serial protocol, wait for the m2741a
Sensor is heated to its operating temperature.
5. Reset the sensor. Make sure zero gas is set up in room air
6. Connect a gas mixture with a regulated flow of 5% co2, balance n2 to the calibration tube.
7. Turn off the gas correction.
8. Wait a few seconds for the gas mixture to stabilize and observe the co2 value.
