Brief Description

These Encoder Knobs are professional medical equipment accessories that can be installed and used on the M Series Defibrillator. They all have their own uses. Generally, there are three main knobs on the M Series Defibrillator. Their respective functions are:
1. selector switch, the selector switch allows selection of the following modes: OFF, MONITOR, DEFIB and PACER, (pacemaker version only)
2. Pacemaker Output mA (Pacemaker version only): When Pacing is selected, this control sets the amount of current delivered to the MFE pads. In conscious patients, the dose should be increased gradually until capture is detected. The current setting selected will be shown on the display.
3. Pace Rate ppm (Pacemaker version only): When Pacing is selected, this control sets the rate at which the pacemaker will run. It must be set above the patient's intrinsic heart rate for the pacemaker to provide stimulation. The selected pace setting will be shown on the display.
