Removing the Display Assembly

1. Squeeze the arm of the ratchet clip out of the slot on the rear of the monitor case.

2. Remove the two plastic hinge pins on either side of the display housing. Loosen them by turning the slotted head counterclockwise with a small flathead screwdriver, then pull them straight out.

3. Starting at the hinge end of the display assembly, separate the two halves of the display assembly.

4. Open the two halves of the display assembly and remove the back of the display unit
If you have an older version with a backlight tube, disconnect the backlight inverter cable after loosening it slightly with a small flathead screwdriver.

5. If you have a newer version with LED backlight, use a screwdriver to loosen the white plastic catch on the display board.
Use a small flathead screwdriver to loosen the cable lock for the display ribbon cable on the display assembly side and disconnect the ribbon cable for successful removal.
