It can be used for routine monitoring of patients to evaluate the smoothness of the patient's entire airway and breathing circuit. The oxygen supply status and gas exchange status of the patient's respiratory system can be observed. It can also understand whether the cardiopulmonary blood circulation is normal, and effectively solve some complications of mechanical ventilation. Patient Monitor Co2 Module is based on non -color scattered infrared spectrum analysis technology (NDIR). The principle of absorption characteristics of infrared rays is used to measure the CO2 concentration. Since the CO2 gas can absorb the infrared light of a specific wavelength, CO2 will be transmitted to a sample room, and then the infrared filter will select an infrared light with a specific frequency band through the gas. In a given volume, the higher the gas concentration, the more infrared light absorbed, and the less transmission of infrared light through the gas. The module can calculate the concentration of the gas by measuring the volume of infrared light.
