M-asimo Rainbow DCL Series Adult Reusable SpCO, SpMet & SpO2 Sensor is used in conjunction with M-asimo SET oximeter or equipment licensed to use M-asimo sensor, and is suitable for arterial blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), arterial Carboxyhemoglobin saturation (SpCO), arterial methemoglobin (SpMet), and pulse rate were either sampled or continuously monitored noninvasively. Note, however, that the accuracy of SpCO and SpMet under conditions of exercise or low perfusion is unvalidated. Therefore, users should pay attention to the use of these devices carefully.
When connecting M-asimo Rainbow DCL Series Adult Reusable SpCO, SpMet & SpO2 Sensor to the monitoring site on the patient, the site with sufficient blood perfusion on the patient and the least restriction on the activities of the conscious patient should be selected. Generally speaking, it is best to choose the ring finger or middle finger of the patient's non-dominant hand, and other fingers of the non-dominant hand can also be selected. But before connecting, be sure to clean the residue from the patient detection site and allow it to dry before connecting the sensor. Otherwise, inaccurate readings will occur.
