The MAJ-85 Auxiliary Water Tube is composed of a one-way valve that prevents backflow of fluid through the tube, prevents water from freely flowing out of the distal end of the tube when disconnecting a syringe or pump from the green luer connector (metal connector), and a Green luer connector composition.

 

 

Precautions

Before using the MAJ-85 Auxiliary Water Tube, be sure to pay attention to the following:
1. The MAJ-855 auxiliary water hose must be reprocessed every time it is used for endoscopy;
2. The MAJ-855 auxiliary water tubing must be reprocessed before first use and after each use (i.e. after each patient examination);
3. Do not modify the tube or replace its connectors, which should not be removed for reprocessing;
4. When using the MAJ-855 to manually reprocess an endoscope with an auxiliary water channel, the MAJ-855 will be reprocessed together with the endoscope itself;
5. If the endoscope is reprocessed in an automated endoscope reprocessor (AER) and the MAJ855 is not used to connect the endoscope to the AER, the MAJ-855 must be reprocessed as a separate item.
