Product Description

The CapnoTrak module is a proprietary capnography solution for monitoring EtCO2 and respiratory rate. The only external components required are the reusable filter assembly, desiccant tubing, and cannula or airway adapter. CapnoTrak accessories are available in a variety of sizes for intubated and non-intubated patients. Nasal cannulas and airway adapters support a wide range of clinical applications for adults, children and adolescents. Extension cables are optionally available when long-distance sampling is required.

Product Features

1. Eliminates the need for water collectors
CapnoTrak eliminates the need for a water trap by using a water filter designed with a hydrophilic filter and a hydrophobic cap to protect the sample cell from moisture and exudates. To maximize the life of the water filter, it is recommended to add a dehumidification tube.

2. Clear CO2 waveform
The CapnoTrak has a small diameter opening in the center of the airway adapter lumen, a water filter and a very small sample cell, resulting in a very clear CO2 waveform, short rise time fast and a capacity of up to 100 rpm.

3. Does not require calibration
CapnoTrak does not require calibration prior to use and has a short warm-up time for emergency use. Choose from 12 patient interfaces, an optional O2 supply line, and a CO2 extension line.

4. Extend oil line life
The dehumidification tube extends the life of the water filter for maximum cost savings. Reusable filters and dehumidifiers should be cleaned and disinfected between uses. The dehumidification tube can be cleaned and disinfected up to 90 times without drying time.
